Lemongrass Chicken in 30 Minutes 泰式香茅草鸡翅

Ok preparation time to marinate the chicken plus cooking will take more than 30 minutes. But the actual cooking time is very quick. Overall, this is unbelievably easy to prepare and very flavourful dish. The chicken is always gobbled up very quickly. I am quite proud I remember to take pictures this time before they disappear ^=^
Ingredients
- Chicken wings or thigh meat (I used 7 small wings)
- 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 cm small ginger skin removed
- 2 small green chilli
- 1 stalk of lemon grass
- 3 bulbs of garlic
- 5 shallots
Directions <Thermomix directions>
- Remove the bones from the chicken
- Marinate the chicken with fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce and half tsp sugar for at least 2 hours (I saved extra marinate for future use ^=^)
- Mince garlic, ginger, shallot, lemongrass into a paste <10 sec, speed 1-10>
- Rub the paste all over the chicken and marinate another 30 minutes
- Put the marinated chicken into pre-heated Air Fryer (or you can deep fry)
- Air fry skin up about 20 minutes at 180 degree or until skin turns brown
- Serve immediately with chopped green chilli as garnish
