The Anti-cancer, anti aging Frankincense essential oil

Posted by Divine Chef on

I started using the Frankincense quite a while now and into my 4th bottle. By now, I am quite a convert for the miraculous wonder of this balsam scented essential oil.  I started using it with either the argan or jojoba carrier oil but since I do not have any sensitivity to Frankincense, I have since been using it neat.

Firstly, the oil is not thick, it gets absorbed real fast without any oily, greasy feel.  The scent is also one that kind of grows on you. The more I use Frankincense to pamper my skin, the more the scent keeps me grounded on days I feel frustrated or unsure about myself.

I like to use it neat on my acnes - trust me it does help. Within 48 hours, I can always feel the bump smaller.  I like to use it on the outer corners of my eyes (ie crow's feet). As I start to be a believer of this ancient oil from biblical times, I found that this oil has been studied extensively for its cancer killing effects.

Frankincense (Boswellia carteri) has a sweet, warm, balsamic aroma that is stimulating and elevating to the mind. Useful for visualizing, improving one’s spiritual connection, and centering, it has comforting properties that help with focusing the mind and overcoming stress and despair. Frankincense is considered a holy anointing oil in the Middle East, where it has been used in religious ceremonies for thousands of years. More recently, it has been used in European and American hospitals and is the subject of substantial research. Frankincense is also a valuable ingredient in skin care products for aging and dry skin. The ancient Egyptians used it in rejuvenation face masks.

Anti-cancer treatment Remedy

  • According to researchers out of Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, the cancer killing effects of frankincense are due in part to its ability to regulate cellular epigenetic function, which highlights its function in influencing genes to promote healing. Baylor cancer scientists emphasize that this potency makes Frankincense a viable candidate for both cancer prevention and treatment!
    • Brain cancer
    • Breast cancer
    • Colon cancer
    • Pancreatic cancer
    • Prostate cancer
    • Stomach cancer
  • It is recommended to rub frankincense essential oil on your body’s area of concern (or neck area) 3x daily and take 3 drops internally in 8 ounces of water 3x daily.

CAUTION: Do not use if you are on blood thinning medication or expectant. NOTE: This is not a medical statement

Healing Skin Wounds

You could apply Frankincense essential oils directly to an area of your skin that you want to heal. If you’ve had minor skin surgery to have something removed, then post surgery you could apply the frankincense undiluted for a couple of days until the skin is dried and healed up. Continue to apply the oils until there’s no more incision.

After it has healed, move to a concentrated dilution of about 50/50–one drop of frankincense to one drop of oil to heal the scar and prevent any of the thick keloid scar tissue from forming.

  • I can’t agree more. I caught herpes unfortunately from a past fling and used to be frustrated whenever it flared up with boils. Frankincense applied directly whenever there are flare ups have kept the problem under control. I hardly ever get any relapses anymore because the moment I feel it coming back, I apply Frankincense and the oil works its magic to keep it away.
